EJ Witt

EJ Witt is a contemporary artist whose work explores the intersection of memory, material and perception. Drawing from a background in archaeology, her practice treats the surface as a site of excavation. 

Working through layered processes that incorporate acrylic, spray paint, collage and mixed media, Witt creates atmospheric compositions that blur districtions between landscape, biology and internal experience. Forms emerge and dissolve, resisting fixed interpretation while echoing both geological processes and cognitive fragmentation.

Her work invites recognition rather than explanation-engaging the viewer in the unstable space between seeing and remembering.
